EVENT ENTRY & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Each participant must have registered through our online registration system or in person with a New Years Race team member at a promotional event or running expo.
There is no age requirement to participate in the Resolution 5K or 9.3 Challenge. We do recommend that children participating in the 5k or 9.3 Challenge be accompanied by an adult on the race course. Each adult participating with a child must also be fully registered for the race. Children participating in the Kids Run must be under 12 years old. A parent or legal guardian may participate with their child on the Kids Run course without being registered.
All participants must show a valid ID when picking up their own packet. Participants will not be allowed to pick up packets on behalf of others. If you cannot attend packet pick-up, packets will not be mailed before or after the race. Additionally, no special accommodations will be made.
Without exception, all participants must agree to and sign the waiver. A parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver for their child under the age of 16.

THE RACE

Participants must start the race(s) during the official recognized start times. Late start will not be allowed.
If you are participating in the 9.3 Challenge, all participants must finish the 5k race prior to the start of the 10k race. No refunds or transfers will be given if not completed in time.
Race management reserves the right to postpone, cancel, or change the race due to occurrences outside of management’s control such as an act of God, natural disasters, etc. NO refunds will be issued.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

As a reminder and per industry standard race policy, all entry fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be deferred to another year. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected business or family emergency, illness, pregnancy, have moved, etc.
If you cannot attend the event for any reason, hoodies, shirts and medals will NOT be mailed to you. There will be no exceptions made to this rule.

PETS

This event is pet-friendly. All pets must remain on a short leash and under the supervision of their owner. Owners should come prepared to clean up after their pets.

STROLLERS

Parents may run with strollers. For the safety of all runners, we kindly ask that parents participating with a child stroller line up towards the back of the start corrals. If your child will be running or walking the course (even just parts of it), they must be registered. If your child would like to receive a bib, hoodie or t-shirt, and medal, they also must be registered to participate.

GOOD LUCK RUNNERS!

We look forward to seeing you at the start line!
