COURSE

Start off the New Year on the right foot by crossing the finish line! The New Year’s Race Los Angeles course offers its runners an awe-inspiring and totally unique tour of downtown Los Angeles—A NIGHT RACE under the glow of the bright city lights. The course starts on 7th Street and Grand Avenue which is known as the “Taste of Downtown.” The finish line will bring you next to the exciting new L.A. Live complex and guides participants through hotspots that mark the new generation of downtown living and some of the oldest historical landmarks of the city.

MILE MARKERS:

Mile Markers will be provided along the course at each mile. Clocks will not be provided along the course. There will be clocks only at the Start and Finish Lines.

AID STATIONS AND MEDICAL:

Water and Medical Stations will be provided throughout the course and will be staffed with event personnel.
Medical support during the New Year’s Race Los Angeles will be provided by health care professionals.
Medical assistance will be available at each aid station along the course to provide medical assistance as needed. A fully-equipped medical facility will be located near the Start/Finish line.

Participants requiring medical assistance may be transported to one of the nearby hospitals and will be billed by the hospital and ambulance provider directly. Participants must give on-scene medical personnel the freedom to determine which facility will be utilized.

IMPORTANT:

Each participant must complete the medical information form on the back of his or her bib number. Please take time to fill out your medical information and provide emergency contact information. This will make your important health care information available to health care professionals in the event you are unable to communicate with them.

RESTROOMS:

Portable Restrooms will be provided at the Start/Finish Line and throughout the course. Course restrooms will be located near the aid stations.
